c230 sedan?g35coupe?350z?
I'm going to be looking at a c230 at a dealer in ajust a little bit to see the car... i looked at a 350z and g35c but havent test driven any.
I Would like to receive some opinions to help me decide which car to buy and the reason why.
I do not need the car to take kids around, but i do have friends.
I will be driving the car alot to work and some short trips.
No doubt the G35Coupe and 350Z are very good for their price tag and have a lot of horsepower and a very sport ride.
The C230 is not in the same league power wise. Do you want the 3 pointed star or do you want performance?

If the g35c and c320 has the same price i would deffinitly pick the c320.... but where talking like...g35 34,500 vs... c320 39,000 .... i have a budget of 35k
A fully loaded (C1, C4, C5, C7, cd, heated seats, 6-speed) C320 coupe is only $34.5k....
But if you can some how afford it, get the 330Ci.
The style of the 2dr c lass is just not my taste.
I finally took a look at the c230 today, i was greeted nicely with a salesman, got me the key and let me look inside the car.
Having a friends with a 97 E55 AMG and a brother with a BMW 325ci, I was very disappionted about the interior. The leather on the car iss great, looks, feels, and support nicely. but thats about all i liked about the interior. the rest of the car specialy the dash board was just what I expected from MB ( or I guess its only for this C class).
The leather seats was the only thing that made the INT> look "nicer". The silver lookng trim that goes around the center console didnt help either. I test drove a accord 6spd Coupe with leather and the INT was a lil nicer than the c230 in my opinion. No offense to any1 that has a c230.
Now the EXT> of the car. wow, I loved it as soon as I 1st walked up to the car. It was a real nice classy look to it.
I just wished the INT was a lil higher quality but I guess you cant ask for much being stickered at 32k.
The car felt real solid..I didnt get to drive it but from shutting the door and messing around inside the car.
But I really like the look of its EXT. If the c320 ( 39k bigger motor than the c230) was in the price range of g35 (34k) It would be a real tough choce between the two.
i'm leaning towards the G35. I just kinda feel that infinity salesman i have dealt with about the car wasnt as polite or helpful about the car , I know alot of ppl are buying the car but no reason for treating the customer with less respect. ( It was the Infinity dealer in ATl. blvd in jacksonville, fl)
i would choose g35 for sure. its cheaper and its fast.
c-class is so freaking slow, unless u are driving a c32 of course. i am driving a c320 and i am disapointed that its so much slower than a lot of the cheaper cars out there. i only like the appearance of my car right now only becuz i have modified it. performancewise--->sux. and yes of course we can supercharge our cars but it requires a lot of $$$. and if i have that much money i wouldn't be stuck in the w203 forum. anyway, don't get me wrong, MB is still my favorite tho!

If you go with the C, make sure you get a black interior, it helps to hide the quality deficiencies of the interior. (that what I did). The cream interior particularly highlights some of the poor materials used in the C-Class.
I agree that the exterior of the C sedan is tight. Put on some 18" Brabus wheels and a body kit and it will be nice.

The M-B is overpriced compared to a Japanese car, even one built by a company owned by the Régie Nationale des Usines Renault. This is still a partly state-owned company, as the French name says. Show your solidarity with Jacques Chirac by buying a Nissan. That wouldn't stop me, but then, I don't like Nissans. They're hideous! The new Nissans look like they re-hired the stylist of the Datsun 200 SX and B 210. Or maybe they brought some of Patrick Le Quement's guys over to Japan. Ever seen a Renault Vel Satis? The new Mégane?
Seriously, I think the M-B is a great car for those who've wanted to try a Benz on for size and like the unique styling and sunroof in particular. It's safer than a Nissan would likely be, and should outlast it by a decade or so. If you're a long-term car owner like me (ten years, minimum, possibly 15+) I would recommend the Benz. If you are a trend king, get the flavour of the month at the Nissan dealer.

If all you want is a really fast car, buy the Z350. The back seat of the G35 coupe is too small to be useful.
which has more quality? how is the leather compred between the two? ect.
