Steering control Adaptor

Hi guys,

I'm driving a 2005 C200 W203. Am thinking of changing the original audio to an aftermarket set.

The following is what I have:
- Scosche 2 Din faceplate
- Kenwood DNX7200 Navigation HU
- Digital TV Tuner
- Ipod
- Pure Highway Digital Radio

Am thinking of adding Steering wheel control interface. But I check with pac-audio, and it seems that they don't have any compatible ones for our W203.

Can anyone enlighten me?

PAC Audio makes modules that work with the 01-04 w203's, you have to use 2 separate modules pac swi-can, pac swi-jack(for Kenwood.) If you have an 05-07 then you will need to use something else. I have an 05 with steering controls hooked up, jreC230 (Jerry) did it for me...

Do you have the digital TV tuner hooked up already? Ive been wanting to do that. How does it come out?

edit: just saw you have a 2005, PAC audio wont work...

What other alternatives can I go for? Can it be purchased over the net? As I'm in Singapore, it won't be possible to seek help from your side...

My digital tuner runs on DVB(digital video broadcast). Over here, it only supports 3 channel at the moment. It was bought long time ago. As for DAB(digital audio broadcast), it is the best thing here as coverage is almost 99%. Enjoy CD quality FM music for free everytime.

you should pm Jerry: jreC230 he should be able to help you out..

He had to purchase the piece, not too sure what company was from, but i know it wasnt PAC Audio, then he had to program it on his laptop. Maybe he can do it for you then ship it???

I just know his services arent cheap!! and im not just talking about the car audio stuff....

really, he should be able to help you out..

This is what I have used and works 100% only problem is to update the software so its a guarantee. I have the software and cable. My cost is 60 for the part. Online u can find them for 40 or so but no guarantee that the software is updated. If your in the LA area send me a PM and ill help you out. I have it installed on mine and have done it on Rolands

Sorry to hi-jack this thread.

Is there anyway to play music on 2003 C230 sedan (6CD change in glove box) without new radio or massive tear down of interior?

Thanks.
