02 sensor extensions
In regards to a header install and according to Karo, the 02 sensor wires are a tight squeeze....
will an 02 sensor extension work/compatible with m272 sensors? I guess my real question is if all 02 sensor and their accompanying plugs are universal.
they sold them for my old ls1 car, which were necessary with long tubes.

I don't fully understand your question.
Do not use generic O2 sensors on a Benz - they will screw around. If you extend the sensor pigtales on the harness just do it carefully & ensure good connections. RMeuropean used to sell extenders & new plugs.

I believe you answered it regardless.
To rephrase:
With headers installed on a m272, making the stock 02 sensor wiring reach the new location of the 02 sensor folloing the cat is a challenge without using a 02 wiring extension.
I was asking if the 02 sensor wire extensions are all the same, or if benz has different wiring supplying the 02 sensor, requring a specific wire extender. And if so, where to obtain such.
It sounds like RME supplies the extensions.
