More to report ...

So it's been ~8 months now. Gas mileage on my m271 seems about the same as before the tune. I do still feel more power than stock, but not a night and day difference, as I mentioned earlier. I'm learning and liking whatever they did to the transmission adaptations - if I get on it for a bit the tranny will hold the lower gear (keep rpm's up) when I let off the gas, more like you would drive hard with a manual tranny. I'm still very happy with the tune. But probably the biggest thing that impressed me recently was that I just passed a smog test with ease. The numbers were just a tad dirtier than the last smog test (like from single digits to in the teens), but nothing at all to worry about.

Does anyone out there happen to know if you can run E85 with the PC tune? The C320 is listed as being E85 capable.

Have they published exactly what parameters are changed in the new chip vs stock , including the numbers? I'm certainly not a skeptic, chipping worked wonders for old FI porsches, but on a 2005 vehicle I wonder what gains are to be had without any other motor/exhaust upgrades? How much hotter does the motor run, will the exhaust/cat(s) need replacing earlier on? I don't know, I'm asking, and I'm sure these guys know what they're doing, but like anyone else, having the data available for analysis from other experts would firm a decision for anyone on the fence like myself.

A lot of members here have had the ECU tune done on their cars. I personally missed out on it because of money issues, but from what I have heard and seen, a lot people can agree that this is one of the best mods for the m271's and m272's in terms of perfomance and price. I'm sure members here have done a dyno test before and after the tune. They prob just never shared it over on the forums. Read through the pages of this thread cuz one of the guys updates us on his observations after the tune was done on his 2005 ss.

But let's try to get a list and maybe we can get a good discount!
