But 6000k at 55watt, Won't that have a strong Blue tinge to it?
I'm looking to go with a Stark White color for my Headlights.

You don't need any eliminator. However, you have to switch the fog light terminals to make it works.

Switch the fog light terminals, I'm not really sure what you mean?

I don't see an option for 5300k on their site, Only 1000k increments

not it wont look blue because as I stated the 55w tend to "wash" out the color...meaning 8000k will look more like a true 6000k and so on and so forth...so if you want something like 5000k I'd get 6000k...even my 35w 6000k doesn't quite look as blue as my $300 ultinon 6000k bulbs...

and do not put 55w in your fogs if thats where your planning on putting them...you risk melting the housing from what I've heard from several people. Plus there should be a warning message when you have the 55w selected on what ever website where it states that it is not recommended for "small housing" fixtures due to the intense heat they will give off etc etc

The HID ballast only let electricity goes one way. However, the way OEM foglight connector configured won't let electricity flow through the ballast, so you have to flip the connector to make electricity goes in the correct terminal...you will understand when you put it on!

And like maverik said, do not put 55w on foglight...it will burn the housing!

damn after all the **** I talked about DDM seems I MIGHT give them a benefit of doubt and try them out.

"xenon present" dont think I have to do that if my headlights are HID oem but what about for my fogs, do I have to set it that way?

Btw it doesn't actually cost $35. If you add 55w and error cancelors the prices easliy shoots up to $55

I have a pic request of a ddm (or any brand really) 8000k HID kit in OEM Bi-Xenon housings.

I got a set off ddm and it seems my driver side bulb is Pure white with no blue at all, while the passenger side is a mainly white with a slight slight hint of blue to it.

I know that HIDs have to burn in to their actual color over time and that they won't look exactly like they're supposed to immediately after install, but it seems I received mismatched bulbs.

I bought a set of VVME HID's recently for my Jeep and one of them seems a bit off also. I ordered 6000K but one seems like it may be 5000K. Strange.
I also have a set of HIDextra HID's in my C240 driving lights. Working good for some time now.
I have also heard good things about DDM on some of the other forums I frequent.

what wattage did u get? As previously posted with other people's experiences if you get a 55w 8000 it looks like a 6000 and 6000 looks like a 5000k

http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/servlet/StoreFront

Im purchasing a digital 55w one from there at 5000k

Both sets I have now are 6000k & 35 watts. The wattage shouldn't have anything to do with the color as that is dictated by the bulbs kelvin temperature. The wattage should only affect brightness.

That's DDM tuning for you. Their bulbs suck and never match. I've had 3 different sets of bulbs from them and they never match. Better off getting bulbs from Theretrofitsource. Their quality control is a lot better.

The wattage does have an impact on the color. Putting more power into the bulb will color shift it down in the spectrum.

How did you guys attatch or install ballast?
Do you have to tie them to somewhere or is it comes with something to hold the ballst?
