Cluster is reset!!!!
Ok so I went to plug back in my cluster (with the key out of the ignition) and nothing happened when it was plugged in. I tried turning the car and still nothing on the cluster. I started fussing witht he cable in the back and finally i got it to actually get power but then every light was on and brake fluid check was lit up and so was the SRS warning and it kept telling me my brights were on and it turned my head lights on despite the knob being set to off....
Any thoughts?

oh although in the mean time I did manage to install my new HID fogs...they look great. Slightly different color than my phillips ultinon 6000k but i'll have to see closwer when it gets dark!
When i had my cluster out i did have a problem with the plug going in like it was fine. but it actually was still loose and not in all the way. i would try it again because i can't imagine there is much else you could brake. BTW I started my car with the ic out and it was fine no errors or anything when i put it back in.

oh ok so you had your car started before you put the cluster back in...and ya i think its just the plug because if i wiggle it around lights come on and occasionally it will show the mileage and the fuel guage will work etc but most the time it just sits dark...

Hello.
Thank you for contacting me today. I do not currently have a specific installation guide for your vehicle or how to install the bezel. However, I can provide you with a link that will give you a general idea on how to install the bezel. The following link shows the installation of a gauge face and chrome rings, but it shows the need to open up your original cluster to install. Please refer to the link for a general idea on how to do it: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w126...or-change.html. I hope you find the link useful. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you and have a great day!

lol, that's not even close to being the same car..
Same thing happened to me. It's real easy to detach the plug from the lever housing that inserts it. If you started the car you're probably going to get a SRS malfunction warning because one of the system checks is whether or not the SRS light illuminates in key position 1.

Got it working. Just unugged and replugged again and again until it worked. Lol thanks all. Gotta say this is one of my most fav mods I've done thus far. It looks real clean. I'll add better pics tomorrow that aren't from my iPhone lol thanks for the help all.
W2 get on thus man. You get yours yet? You'll love it.
