2003 C320 Value.....9K miles!!

I'm not disputing what you're saying, Glyn, as I trust your word but have been burned by this sort of scenario before. I'm saying that I would never personally buy a car that was never driven. What's illogical is buying a $40k sedan and hardly touching it. Cars have but one purpose, after all.
And any of you that think this car is going to command some sort of multi-thousand-dollar premium are crazy. We're talking 2003 C320 not some exotic Porsche. Even if in a hypothetical buyer scenario you *would* pay $16k for it I still find it highly unlikely anyone is going to want a non-AMG, pre-facelift W203 that badly. Hell the 2003 320 was outdated in 2003. The whole point of this thread was what is it worth.. which, I think, is a bit more than your average 03 320 but nothing ridiculous.

You should analyse your previous posts - they are dumb & some of the worst you have ever made.

I said "to me" and I called into question how it would be valued, not whether or not it was less valuable. 90,000 miles on an 03 could be called "low mileage" since 120k is average for an 8y old car here. Thus I don't see how there will be a huge value difference.
Not dumb, sorry.

I will jump into this. IF I were looking for a 2003 320, I would be all over the 9K car. If I specifically wanted a facelift car, then I would be looking for a low mileage version there.
I can understand the hesitation that has been stated, but I really don't see significant problems from the low use, especially not anything that would be more noticeable or expensive than 80,000 miles of wear and tear.
This would be a great car to rack up miles on for a couple of years, the depreciation is already done and you could drive 60K or more on it and sell it for very little less than you purchase it for. That is a win.

That IS a win. I hadn't thought of it that way. I understood it wasn't going to be worth a lot more than a higher mileage example but didn't connect the dots. I could take the car, keep it for two years, sell it with 80k miles as "low mileage" example for almost as much. Very intelligent idea you have there.
