If you need your car worked on, I'd recommend taking it to either Harbor Motorsports or Hyevon Motors depending on what you mean by 'mechanic'. They're not really in the LA area but the drive is worth it and the customer service and expertise can't be beat.

G and N motors on century city is the place to go! Very reliable, honest, and reasonable prices. Only Services MB. Ask for George, he's the owner.
