There are two methods use to control the beam pattern of headlights whether they are xenon or not. The H7 halogens and xenon headlights on the 2002 sedans use the fluted style lense to control the beam pattern and cutoff. The projector type of lamps such as the 2003 bi-xenons use the shape of the reflector and a metal shield in front of the bulb to control the beam pattern and cutoff.
If you put the clear lenses on your non-projector headlights the result would be two floodlights. The light would go everywhere and blind oncoming traffic because there would be no cutoff in the pattern. There wouldn't even be a pattern. From the drivers seat, you would not be able to see as far, because the beam would not be focused down the road. It would be like using two flashlights as headlights.

You could always get the depo lights, they are the clear lights with projectors or you could go to the dealer and purchase the clear headlights from them. They are both priced around $400 -$450.
