A/C issues

I have an c240 2002, the problem is that the AC everything works just fine while the car is running, once the car stops the A/C stops reduces the Cold..

In others words The A/C only blow cold only while the car is running, when i stop at traffic or at idle blows ambient temperature.

The temperature of the car doesn't raise or go hot nothing of that..

What could be the problem? some sensor? Compressor,Aux fan is not running at his normal speed ?

I did search but i doesn't appear nothing related.

thanks your help would be appreciated

Likely you are not getting enough air through the condensor while stationary.

First thing is to have the unit regassed to spec. If the problem then persists you can start chasing down fan speed etc.

Thanks a lot for your response !!!

I would put some gas on it, and see how it goes..

if the problem continues the next step would be? replacing the aux fan?

Actually I notice that the fans kicks on normally , what i don't really know is, if is working at his normally speed..

Is there any relay or fuse that controls the different s speeds of the fans? or something like that?

I only have 2 days with this c240.. i love the car..

Regards

There is a fan controller mounted on the fan housing that controls speed. It can be fine tuned with a Star DAS.
