The latest part number seems to be A 611 070 16 87

Benz have updated the injectors so often on the OM611 that you really should check this against your VIN at a dealer.

I drive a 2009 C Class Luxury, the fault indicator light is activated and the error message displayed is " ESP Unavailable & ESP Inoperable"

I took the car for diagnosis and the error shown was "Faulty Steering Angle Sensor" before ordering this part, can anyone pls advise if the sterring angle sensor could really be the issue, as i read in the post below that Steering Angle Sensor has nothing to do with the ESP

The steering angle sensor does feed the ESP. It is the only way the ESP knows which way & to what degree the front wheels are pointing (plus some input from the yaw sensor).

Please turn steering from lock to lock 5 times to reset the steering angle sensor. If this does not cure the problem then replace it.

I believe that you have a mistake about your engine:
OM611.962 (203.004) come on C200 CDI from years 2000 - 2002

What you have is
OM646.962 (203.007) which come on C200 CDI from years 2003 - 2007.

I'm not sure if the parts are so different but better be sure what engine you have before ordering expensive parts ...
