Nice pick-up.

My buddy has a RAM that's the same color, but his has a crew cab and the big diesel motor (which actually get's pretty good mileage, I think in the 20s).

That thing's a beast !

Enjoy, BT

Yeah, I specifically opted for the reg cab, short bed because it handles significantly better than the quad cab. One of the car magazines tested it and said it was the best handling full size truck they had ever tested. I really wanted another Dakota, but I could buy the Ram just as cheap, and it had the 5.7, etc. I had to decide between keeping the coupe and buying a truck for hauling bikes, or just trading. Since I had so many problems with the coupe, I decided to just trade and get rid of that headache. But it was hard, because for all it's problems, I really liked the car.

The Ram has a 5-45RFE trans which is used with Chrysler Group 3.7/4.7/5.7L engines.

The new RWD LX platform vehicles which include the Chrysler 300C Sedan and Dodge Magnum sport wagon will have the new Chrysler Group built 5-speed auto trans which shares its design with the MB 5-speed auto. My wife and I will most likely be replacing our 2001 Chrysler 300M with the new 300C sedan sometime next year. The 300C will also be available in AWD which I assume will use the same system as the E-Class.

DCX, shouldn't the 300C be called the 300N ? I like the 300M, I had one as a rental once. A RWD hemi powered one sounds pretty fun.

Funny that Chrysler is bringing back the Dodge Magnum name, my parents used to own a '78.

No longer car shopping...
Mercedes DOES have...

Speedfrk - I'm surrprised no one pointed this out yet but Mercedes DOES make an engine that is 345HP and 375lbs torque. It's called the CLK55 AMG. It's 342HP with 376lbs torque. It pushes the 2-door CLK from zero to sixty in 4.9 and is AWSOME!
