Ideas For Modifications - 2006 C230 Sport (White)
I have a white 2006 C230 Sport completely stock that I am thinking about making some MODs to. I've seen some of the aftermarket grilles with the MB emblem in the middle, but most I have seen I do not like.
I like the new W203 CL style grille w/ 3 chrome lines (shown below), but have not seen what it looks like on a white C230. If anyone has any pics, please post them!
![](http://www.55motors.com/images/w203newblk.jpg)
Also, please post any pics that any of you may have of a (or your) WHITE C230 Sport.
Any ideas and pics would be appreciated, Thanks!

First off welcome to MBWORLD ![Newbie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/newbie.gif)
you should introduce yourself and post pics of your car.
You have provided me the playground I never had, a white application for mods (could only find the options I wanted in the iridium silver)
The grille is nice but I dont like that big star in the middle, looks good now but something odd about it once its on the actual car.
I would go with the STOCK (OEM) grille painted black or carbon fiber wrapped, only thing about the carbon fiber is that your then gonna have to add other carbon fiber pieces to match and it could get expensive.... trust me.. if not ask DYNO how much hes spent on carbon fiber alone!
mods..
paint or wrap grille...
color matched side markers..
carbon fiber lip, and trunk spoiler. (order from suvneer)
wheels...
springs..
Do you have stock HID's ?
I will continue once you answer lol

I would go with wheels first then Xenon headlight and Xenon Fogs then you can look for a wing then from there take it slowly....there are a lot of stuff to do but you have to see what you want to do and how much you want to spend.
Take a look at Rollnnn's thread. He has one bad *** c230

The True OG Modded out W203
Not too often I actually find an OLD OLD pic of my old c class
Here is how that type of grille looked like back in '04....![](https://mbworld.org/forums/attachments/c-class-w203/37423d1094115363-evolution-my-car-mbworld-oldhood2.jpg)
You can find more details on this old thread of mine....Good Ol Days of modding...
Honestly...after going through all the grille changes back then, I was more satisfied with just painting the stock grille black

I'm also thinking about going with these fenders, Extreme Dimensions Morello Edition.

I was involved in a minor accident and I'm paying out of pocket to fix it. I just need a new hood, grille, headlight, and fender.. So I figured I might as well make a few mods while it's waiting to be repaired..

Hell, I may get both and switch them out on occasions.. I think I'm going to go with the aftermarket Xenon headlamps for around $450.. I'm sure they're not as good as the OEM, but probably beat the regular headlamp's I have now.

DEPO headlights are the closes you are going to get that look like the stock BiXenon. Then you add a Xenon kit and you have yourself a great headlight upgrade
![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
DEPO headlights go for 250 - 280 dollars.
Xenon kit runs around 35 dollars plus tax add an extra 35 dollars plus tax for the fog lights and you are good to go.
DEPO headlights

HID Kit
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
H7 for headlight and 9006 for fogs. I would recomend 6000K all around but most run 8000K (more bluer). Stock is 4500K if I am not mistaken
As for your grill, I would just paint it black

I believe I found a pair that's already set up and ready to go by DEPO for around $400. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCE...item27b6746ccb

Even 400 is expensive. 280 for DEPO + 35 dollars for kit + tax and shipping for HID Kit max 330 dollars. For another Max 45 dollars you can get another kit for the fogs so for around 380 you can do your headlights and fogs. Installing the kit to the headlight isn't hard..very easy.
So it just comes down to buy the preassembled kit on ebay for 400 dollars or install the easy kit and have an extra HID kit for your fogs

In all honesty I think the stock grill painted black looks the best. This is strictly my opinion and I do not want to offend anyone but I don't think the grill with the huge star looks great. Our car's don't have a front end designed to match the emblem.
