wheel set up

I know this has been asked often times before. But the longer I read on posts about it, the more I get confused. There was a post that said offsets of 31 to 40 would fit our car but it depends on the style,??? So here I am and I bought a set of 18" AMG Mono II off an E55 with offsets of F31 and R35. I installed the fronts and based on the attached pictures, they seem to be jutting out of the fenders. I need everybody's judgement if this will rub. I also plan to lower the car by 1". Thank you all. My car's an 02 Coupe.

joe maniqz,.... you only posted for help 3 hours ago,... so stop b*tching!

Feeling some sort of entitlement for help here,.... will surely ensure you do NOT get any.

If you want help,... then post some useful information like the width of the rims and the tires you plan to get. We're not mind-readers!

BTW,... there's already a huge wheel - rim thread that you could have posted to. Instead of starting your own. And I'd be extremely surprise if the answers to your questions are not in that huge wheel/rim thread. Try using the search function!

There was a similar thread recently. I believe E class wheels do not directly bolt up to C class...

Yes they do please don't give out wrong info if you don't know what your talking about.. Ive had a set of E class sport rims that worked on my car perfectly. Now the newer e Class uses bigger sized bolts 14m compared to our 12m. So not sure on newer ones

Ppl need to stop mounting rims without tires.. Rims always look different with rubber on. Your not gonna know if it rubs unless you have rubber already on.

Another reason why your car looks like that is because its sitting on jack stands and lifted about 10 feet LOL

Also make sure you don't have the rears on the fronts

I speak from experience, but only tried one set off an E class ... would have needed spacers to make them work which I didn't want to do. Plus, the other thread seemed to confirm this. I apologize for any confusion.

Older generation E55 (W210) and our generation of C-class (W203/CL203) both use the same size lug bolts.

C-Class (W201, W202, W203, S203, S210) - alloy wheel -
E-Class (W203K, W210) until `01 - alloy wheel -
M12x1.5 thread, R12 ball seat, 39.9mm shank, 17mm hex

C-Class (W201, W202, W203, S203, S210) - steel wheel -
E-Class (W203K, W210) until `01 - steel wheel -
M12x1.5 thread, R12 ball seat, 20.6mm shank, 17mm hex

So these old E55 hammer-time AMG rims should "bolt" on without any issues using original lugs. But why anyone would want to bolt on these old E55 hammer-time AMG rims onto their pride and joy W203/CL203 is beyond me. They look much better on the older more square-ish W202.

Rims from newer E-class,... different story,... they won't work on our W203/CL203 without custom lug bolts and spacers.

joe maniqz,.... do your own homework by reading the W203/CL203 Wheel thread ao125 generously linked to,... if you still have issues after that then ask. BTW, posting ET offset without width doesn't tell anyone anything.
