w204 suspension on a w203?
this might be a silly question, but is there any way to fit w204 amg shocks/struts and springs on a w203 chassis (even with light modification)? the mounting points look similar but obviously the chassis is different... any help would be great as the dealership has no technical info to assist. thanks

The current theory is that it will swap. The w203 bushings have been back speced to the w204 parts and the mounting points are the same. However after looking at WIS the springs and struts look entirely different so no one can say for certain.
EDIT: I've just noticed the W203 and W204 have different PN's on aftermarket coilovers. If the parts were interchangeable I would imagine them having the same PN.

Jokers - What are you trying to achieve? The variable or active damping??

well actually yes i would like the active dampening; i have an opportunity to pick up a c63 performance package setup and was curious if it could fit. then id kill 2 birds with 1 stone, compared to my current bilstein BTS kit which is very stiff and uncomfortable. seems like its a no-go from the replies here though...

Yes - Our C350 has the Advanced Agility Control fitted. Gives you the best of both worlds at the push of a button. I can see no easy way to retrofit it to a W203. - pity.
Koni & Bilstein produce electronically controlled systems for the aftermarket as do Ohlins for bikes. Maybe you should investigate that. Don't know if they have for Benz
