thats frikken CLEAN. I've been debating on what color I should paint my calipers and I think I just found it. Do you think it would look good on a black w215?

It looks really good. Any way to get a pic from up top, so that we can get a good idea? These side shots are making my neck hurt.

ill get up on my ladder and take some pics tomorrow or later today tommy. I was about to pull the trigger on getting the wheel stud conversion. That might be my next thing on the list. I was thinking since the Honda s2000 lug fit on our ball seat for our wheels, that I might take a dremel to the top and chop it off so it'll be an open lug nut.

Interesting - then what? Prime and paint the cut-off ends? Could be a fun project, assuming rust doesn't get a hold of the ends. I've got Project Kics on my CRX, and they're already rusting from where the socket had touched them - didn't know they were so delicate.

I'd grind it smooth first then do a blast of the no rust paint.

If you're going to that trouble, why not buy the open-ended ones that I got, blast the chrome off, and paint those? That sounds easier to me.

not hooked up yet. I'm letting my engine cool so i can do the mock up on everything. I've gotten too many burn marks on my arm from working on a hot engine lol

If you could, please either hang glide in or parachute off a building, so that we can get true pics from right above the hood.

As in the past, if you track down a good open-ended ball seat lugnut, let me know. I'm dying for something more interesting than what I have, short of doing custom work, which scares me, since these do see snowy winters and I don't want to have to deal with rust on them.
