It is a wine making area with excellent vinyards & wines.

Take a peek on the internet.

"annoyance" and "self-righteousness", amoung others...
and now.... I feel like we've been wasting our time at the carribbean.

I can't believe you get to wake up to that everyday. Beautiful.

The carribbean is pretty special & it's sub/tropical, tropical. Warmer waters etc.

We have the odd shark problem as do Australia & this week - Egypt. We have shark spotters & as long as you listen to the lifeguards you will not have a problem. Sharks are only an issue on the Indian Ocean side of the peninsular where there are lots of seals & the water is warmer in False Bay. On the Atlantic seaboard where I am the water is colder & we never have shark problems. But then surfing is a wetsuite activity on our beaches this side of the peninsular. Llandudno is packed with surfers all summer long. Not a good place to come in winter.
