Cannot post AGAIN..
VERY annoying that I can't post a reply on my own thread... so, as far as the radio, I had already changed the settings to Ambiente and pushed the bass to the highest level... it still sounds horrible... the tint is the HuperOptik, put on by the dealer. I have no clue as to what percentage it is... Thanks for all your comments!

I messed with the audio settings for days and ended up setting the EXT to OFF. I didn't like the other settings. The bass is to the far right and treble is a couple lines to the left.
I found that the Bose subwoofer will play low frequencies but has no "punch". My wife's standard (non-Bose) Honda audio can shake the mirrors. I prefer to feel bass rather then hear it.
I'm still waiting for someone to replace their Bose sub with aftermarket and see what happens.

I know that there are some people who have replaced their subs with aftermarket ones. I think BrabusCclass has done it. You might also post in mbnz.org... i have read on there as well about people replacing the sub.....
