When I leave my car I have the driver seat and steering wheel exit assist on. However when I get back in my car the seat doesn’t fully come all the way up. I have to hold down the memory button to have it fully come back up. Is anyone having this problem? Being 5'7" I need the seat all the way up to reach the pedals :-)

It is a safety feature to stop some tall person from grabbing a short persons key and crushing themselves into the dash. I asked the dealer and they said all vehicles do that. The same reason we have to hold the button to get the seat to move instead of hitting it once. Mine falls a few inches short of the postion I want my wifes on the other hand comes no where near where it should. I am 5'7" and my wife is 5'1". Imagine a 5'11" person putting her key in and not realizing what happens and closing the door. They would be struffed into the dash with there kneees in there face by the time the seat stopped, my wifes goes all the way to the most forward position.
