Wish me luck...multiple fault codes

CEL on my wife's came on a couple of days ago after a leisure drive. Took it to the stealership this morning and got a call this afternoon saying they weren't able to diagnose in the first hour. So....they need to charge me another hour (at $125) to pinpoint the problem

The service writer at MB of Escondido said there were multiple fault codes and the problem may be oil in harness, bad cylinder, coil pack(s), plug(s), etc.

Keep in mind that we baby this car and only has 47,000 miles. The hose recall was performed a few months ago.

I'm crossing my fingers

if the oil in the harness caused the damage to other parts, try to get MBUSA involved and have them pay for it. They may cover at least the price of the parts.

Thanks, but it ended up being a bad MAF sensor.

Yeah, $1000 to diagnose and replace. The first major expense in 7 years.
