Q: Separate Purchase of Front Clip for Doorsill
Noticed that the little plastic clip that goes into the plastic-covered recess in the body for the the front of the doorsill on my passenger's side is not there. Anyone know if that can be ordered separately? I looked at RM European, and it was no help.
And if anyone has a spare, please end to me.

No, please - don't post all at once!!
An update:
drove to the dealer at lunchtime; cost of part (drumroll please!): $4.38 for what appears to be the world's smallest butt plug. Then there's also $0.31 to the Chris Christie Mozzerella Sticks Fund, for a whopping total of $4.69. Moral of the story: don't lose little bits off of Benzes.
I did have some good news; I realized that I wasn't installing that sill properly; when you install it, there's a lip at the bottom that the top portion of the metal part of the doorsill slips into - looks like I was just laying the panel on top of that metal piece, which is why it hasn't been too secure. So at least I fixed something properly while paying way too much at the dealership.
Oh, and damn - just plugged in the part # at RM Mercedes - 001-988-97-81 - it's a "moulding clip" and costs $1.74 there (though with shipping, would have been more than what I paid most likely).
Ok - you can now go back to the debate on painting your calipers...

heheheh, tommy, I was going to say... go pick it up from you closest MB dealer. But you're a veteran here. So, I felt silly to post that response. :-)
Thanks for posting the reference part number on RMeuropean. It'll help others.
