help needed

Hi, recently i've been hearing chirping noises whenever i go faster than 40mph. it gets louder as i go faster. brought it to the dealer ( the car still have cpo warranty ) but after 2 days there they said they dont know where the noise coming from / they will charge me 300 if i want them to took the car apart ) i wonder if anybody else have the same problem ( my car is a 2006 c350) or if anyone can recommend any indy shop in the oc area. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

i'd take the car to another dealer(if you're fortunate to live close-by another one). sounds pretty ridiculous that they'd charge money to get to the bottom of an issue that should already be covered by warranty..

as for what it may be.. you may want to check the tensioner belt pulley and the idler pulley(taking into consideration these noises are coming from the front of the car).

+1, the tensioner was a common problem on these. Mine was replaced for free. Just take it back and say my tensioner is the problem and that you are aware there is a TSB on it and that they should change it for free.

Is this with the blower switched off? If so it is sometimes the blower fan. If so lubricate or change bearings.

the noise is coming form the side of the car , can be heard if the driver window is open, and it start making noises after i drive it for 6 miles ( when everything heats up??). Not sure what to do now...bring it to an independent shop?? anybody know a reliable indy shop around oc area??
