Roof/Trunk Spoiler install
I bought one of the carbon fiber roof and trunk spoilers from the sale Gary had in December. 1st of all I have to say the product quality is great for the price, little to no imperfections on the clear coated side. But I am having a problem, I tried installing the roof spoiler earlier this week with the 3M automotive tape but didn't really work out. The bottom of the spoiler is uneven and doesn't conform to the curviture of the rear glass...has anybody else installed one of these that can maybe provide some helpful insight?
TIA!!
TIA!!

Just install the 3M tape to the sides and top of the spoiler. The bottom is going to have a little gap and the tape wont touch the glass. Just apply pressure for 30 seconds to a minute on the side and top and it'll hold. I've had mine on for about 6 months and its on there pretty secure.

its the top that has the problem...the left side has kind of a bulge and it won't touch the glass between the center and the left edge of the spoiler...I going to try it again, for the 3rd time if and sand it down a bit if it doesnt work and make it fit...just didn't wanna do all that to such a nice part.

as long as you have a good part of the spoiler touching the glass that the tape can attach you should be ok. If you want you can double stack the tape to see if it'll touch.
