H&R vs Eibach
How do these two compare in ride?
The H&R sport springs have initially the same drop as the Eibach springs. Do any of these require changing shocks or need any kind of camber adjustments?

eventually you will need to change shocks with aftermarket springs. probably around 10k miles, my recommendation is just go with the cupkit and do it all at once. i also have noticed that the eibach springs don't have as much of a drop as the cupkit. also, if you get your car aligned you prob don't need a camber kit. just wear your tires faster if your camber is off.

I have had H&R springs on my car over 45K miles. My shocks are still perfect. I would just go with the springs. The factory Benz shocks are pretty good. We are not driving honda's here.

the ride isn't that bad, i say pretty close to stock... i felt more of a difference from 16s to 18s than changing suspension... besides the car handles so much better with a lot less bodyroll...
here's a pic of my car with the cupkit:

the cupkit has a lil more aggressive drop...
hey Verb04, how does changing shocks make your car into a honda? shocks actually increase the performance of your car. i believe honda owners would only opt for springs and not a combo. for an extra few-hundred it's worth it to get the cupkit.

no idea... stock pad on the sport package.
I might add a thicker pad on it though. I think it would sit nicer if it was about .25 inches higher in the back.

no the pad doesn't come with the cupkit, but they are pretty cheap, usually a few bucks... with the pads, you'll be able to adjust the height of the rear, so if you don't like the flush look in the rear, you can raise the car to have a little more height... however, this is only for the rear... in the W202s they have them both in the front and the rear, sort of making height adjustable... however, with the cupkit the car is completely level... if you get a pad in the rear, the height looks more balanced but the car isn't level anymore... just the way the fenders were designed...
