Does the 05 C230k have shorter springs than the 03 models? If so I want to buy some.

If they have different shocks. How would the springs fit an 02 or even an 03 c320? unless the springs are the same

They aren't different in fitment but in ride height/spring rates and damper and valving rates for the shocks/struts.

+1 they just changed the struts and springs since they would all be getting the ss package. They need to accommodate the lower springs by adjusting the dampening and stroke of the strut pistons.

I cut the rear coils.. Looks like i need to buy new springs now. I cut 2 coils off the rear. Just to see how it would sit.. and yup i cut to much.. It doesn't rub any place i had my little brother check. Jumped up and down inside the trunk and still doesn't rub. But its way to low for my liking..

O well looks like i will cut 1 more up front. Maybe it will raise the rear up some.

Slammed. Might be biting off more than you can chew though by continually cutting the stock springs... Can't be good for stock suspension.

dude at the gas station said the same thing. Its tucked in hard. I will cut 1 more coil off the front just to even it out. I hope that by doing this it will raise the rear a little. ( Im going to order springs very soon ). When turning really really hard at high speeds i believe i heard a little rub on the right rear.

I member offered me his H & R rear coils i may take him up on those. Ill post some more pictures in a min.

Should have only cut 1 in the rear and 2 up front..

I really hope if i cut the fronts another coil to match the rears it will lift the rear end up while lowering the front..

I wont be driving much now i guess. Ill just park it and keep it for show

It's kind of hard to tell, but it looks like your camber is off now in the rear now. If it is you're going to have some premature tire wear on the insides if you don't get it corrected.

If the 320 has the same pad as the 240, then he would have the #2.

Oh, alright. I was thinking #3 for some reason. Assumed sports come with #2?

The rear of the car comes with 4 different types of spring pads. 1-4.
The lowest is 5mm and the highest is 17mm meaning there's 4mm intervals.

I think if you put a #4 on the rears you should be able to get the desired height for the car. +1 for the camber def check it out.

to determine what spring pad you have, you need to remove it and look and see how many circle knobs are on it. The knobs are on the side and are about 2 or 3mm in diameter (if i remember correctly). The number 1 will have 1, 2 will have 2 knobs, and so on.

SS have #2 pads on them... and he's probably running some negative camber now. Better get it fixed because if you drive like that for awhile its going to wear the inner tire pretty quick. If your alignment was straight you'd probably be rubbing the fender well.

XHale doesn't have the sport pkg so what pad do the stock ones come with?
Xhale:
better get this straightened out.

I was really hoping to see some pics of what the front and rear look like right now, not just the rear. that picture would be good to be archived.
