OBDII plug location???

my ride a 2007 C280 4matic is throwing a check engine light, would like to know where in the hell is the location of the OBDII plug for me to pull the codes.............if at all I can use an OBDII scanner on a mercedes???.........any help would be great...........

On my 2002, it's just to the right of the hood release lever. It's covered by a little black plastic hinged door that you need to open. I'd suggest looking in that area.

Yes, any normal scanner will work on a Benz. Good luck.

+1 its where tommy said... its on the underside of the console by the hood release lever, its covered by by a flip cover, it had a little notice you can feel when under there to flip the cover open.

haha its all good javvy, have to have the codes read before you know what it is and it cant be read if you dont know where the OBDII plug is
