Which spare tire, tool kit, & jack?
I just purchased my first Mercedes, it's a 2005 C230K sedan. It is a great car and a lot of fun to drive! Unfortunately after I got it home, I realized it is missing the spare tire, jack, and tool kit. Of course, when I called the previous owner, he had no idea what happened to the original set...
If you have a 2005 C230K sedan, can you please let me know what is specifically included? Such as, what is the spare tire size? (I have stock OEM 17" wheels)
What is included in your tool kit? Do I need a compressor?
If you could provide a list of parts or pics, it would be greatly appreciated - Thanks in advance!

how could the original owner not know what happened to the spare kit and tools?
I'd call him on it to be replaced.
at the very least, the tow hook was in the tool kit... which you'd need if you ever get into a situation where you need to tow the car.
spare kit includes the usual affair, plus a pair of gloves... you know, wouldn't want your hands to get dirty... freaking MB... crack me up.
car also comes with a first aid kit. check if you are missing that too.
anyway, congrats on your purchase. welcome to MB world.

on a serious note... might be safer move to keep the spare kit with you just in case... you never know when you are going to need it.
spare tire and kit shouldn't add to much weight.
worth the extra weight you carry for safety.

Tire is like over 40 pounds. I have tripple A if i ever need help. There's no safety when im riding 18 inch rims and my spare is a 16

I guess in your case it wouldn't help too much... though how does it work when tripple A or any RA don't have access to a spare to put on?

So my day just got fun.
So after going to work at 6:30 on like no sleep I leave and hear something like a flat spot so i am like wtf the car only sat a few hours and i have never had this happen before in the g8. So it goes away with a wired bang so i was like ok a rock or something. Fast forward 5 minutes i pull into my community and go around a corner and the left front tire collapses. So I pull it into my driveway and take a look. So i go to the trunk to get the spare and find out all the car has is a compressor and tire sealant no tools or jack. Well i look at the tire and realize that the bead is broken so that is a lost cause even trying. So I called AAA and had to have them tow the car to a tire shop to have them patch the tire. and $35 later I have a drivable car again. In about an hour my parts for the c320 show up and i have to drive them to the shop and hour away so glad the tire was fixable. What a fun day

My car also comes with the big brake kit, so the right spare is important for clearance reasons.

I need to know where I can purchase a jack, tow hook and tire tools for a 2008 Mercedes s550 4matic. I also lost my key to unlock my lug nuts. I need a solution or suggestion.
