Unlocking doors
This is driving me nuts. I don't recall it doing this before. I went to read the manual but with no available.
Can those with C230 or other models does this.
When I open my doors while it's lock. I pull the driver side handle or the passenger side handle. Does it unlock all the doors?
Currently, it's doing that and i don't recall it did that before.
Please confirm if this is normal.
Thanks in advance.

It's normal. And as micheal stated above, it sometimes seems random. But i believe it unlocks all the doors if your car is in park and you open the doors or the engine is off. I'm not positive about this though, I'll have to play with it a little to figure out what exactly triggers when it doesn't unlock the doors.

Is it weird that I never thought about this, until I read this post, and then looking back remember being confused by this in my C240? It seems to be more logical and consistent in my C230. I wonder if that's a pre-facelift vs facelift issue.

normal.
I think it's a cool feature, though I wonder how much premature wear it puts on rest of the locks when you are only one in the car...
also, love that it auto locks all the doors once you hit 10(? I forget exact) mph.

I will have to play with it, mine is set so that the first key push unlocks only the driver's door.
I want to claim that I noticed at some point that it doesn't unlock the passenger door (Coupe) when I am in park and get out - if I have only clicked the remote once before I got in. But, if I have double clicked the key, so I unlock both doors, then when I get out it unlocks the passenger door.
Essentially I am thinking it remembers whether I had unlocked just one or both doors before I drove away -- but I could be imagining it. I remember playing with it, saying "Oh, that's neat" -- and now it just happens and I don't notice. If I am right, that helps with the random feeling. Sometimes I hit the remote several times walking up to the car, sometimes just once...and sometimes at work I've just left it unlocked.

Yep, mine has moments of senility. Sometimes when I get out, it unlocks only my door. And then when I get back in and pull the handle from the outside to open the door, it will trigger them all to unlock. It does seem weird sometimes but the quirks are why I am never bored with this car.
