Can't get broken breather hose uninstalled

I have a 2004 c230k coupe. I've tried to find the answer to my problem on the web and this forum but so far unsuccessful. Here is the problem, the breather hose that connects the coolant reservoir tank to the engine block broke. The part number is 203-501-00-25. The end of the hose that connects to the engine block broke off and I'm unable to get it loose. I've tried looking for a fastener that holds the hose to the block but none are visible. Btw, it's not really the engine block but a plastic conduit that attaches to the block. Does anyone know how to get this piece loose? I managed to get the metal clip off with a plier but that didn't help. I've included pictures displaying the part. Thanks.

I would have thought that once the wire locking clip is removed the fitting should be able to be slid off. GENTLY try leavering off with a sharp instrument.

Take a look at the underside with a mirror.

You can see where the spring is holding the fitting in the slot.

Anyone else ?

hahaha..... Women vanity mirrors tend to be a bit on the large side and dont quite fit into that tight spot but I did consider that I'm hoping you are right about the problem
