Thanks Fookoo, it's actually very relieving now that I actually managed to get to the bottom of this. Any idea how I can find out a part number so I can look for OEM alternatives that do not have the MB dealership premium pricing?

Thanks again for all of your support, it made me save a few grey hairs!

I have an extra ballast if you are interested. I bought it because i thought i had a bad one but it was an ignitor issue.

ok well from my research if it looks the same as yours it will work in yours. They are used in some RR, BMW's, Mini, MB, and a few others and if you go used you can find them at least in the USA for like $100

I installed these H7 Depo Black Headlights in May this year and this is what they look like 4 months later. dont kno what to do please help.

Try popping off the rear dust cover and see if the projector is loose inside the housing. Something isn't right for sure.
