W203 iPod adapter help
I posted a classified for the stock stereo out of my C230, and for the iPod unit that was with it, and now I need some help from our great and knowledgeable forum members.
Here is the classified post.
I was wondering if all facelift W203s would be able to use this , or is it just certain ones? For instance, one member has asked me if it will work with his system that has Command and CD changer. Obviousely I don't have a clue

I believe it will work for command, but FYI you're missing the wiring harness that comes along with it. Key about the wiring harness is moving over the optical connectors from the original harness plug.

OK, that's a start. E, when I took it out, the plug that went from it went straight to the stereo harness, and was intertwined with the stock stereo harness (I should have taken better pictures!) Is it possible that most cars of this vintage have this plug laying around in the side panel? I'll see if there is any way for me to clean up the pics I took of the connector and post them up here.

Here are two shamefully bad pictures of the connector. If I can bring myself to take my car apart in the parking lot of my hotel tonight I will get better pics.
Like I said, the other end of this is inter-meshed with the radio harness, so I don't see how I could remove this piece for someone else.

Yeah that's the one that plugs into the iPod control unit. The other side of that harness plugs into the back of your head unit and then the stock wiring harness plugs into the new one.
