Yellow Lights, Blue Lights, White lights.

I've read some of the whiter bulbs can be quite uncomfortable in the snow.
SO!
I mean whats the deal? I just want to see better, and be able to do so for long periods at night without any additional fatigue to my eyes under ALL driving conditions.
I'm thinking Philips Vision Plus for lows, and the Rallayes for hi beams....comments?
Why should I give a crap if my bulbs are not so white?
Is this strictly a look cool thing, trying to imitate the more expensive Xenon bulbs and nothing more?
Or is there something more scientific to it, something that will be less fatiguing, and see better?
I remember a guy once telling me he had perfected a method for rolling down his window in a way that they couldn't tell that he was ROLLING down the window, so that chicks would think he had electric windows. Uh. Wow. Thats pretty stupid!
Are we dealling with the same kind of male stupidity here again?
(not to say I've never been guilty of male stupidity, but I never tried to pretend a car had electric windows when it didn't....
yeh, so maybe attach clear fish line mirrors, and make it look like the mirrors were electric too.... ;-)
So in all the threads I've read, it seems most people replacing the bulbs in the stock headlights, talk a lot about aesthetics (spelling?), of the color of the bulbs and less about how well the damn bulbs work.
Are we dealling with the same kind of male stupidity here again?
Oh well. We are what we are.

Total outlay about 90 bucks. But i supposedly get 1 free
Vision plus and a set of free whiter 5watt daylight "side" bulbs, so not bad I guess?
"we are what are".
Grunt. I agree.
PS. Sorry, don't feel like screwing with Xenon's.
Doubt my dealer would do the ECU fix for me.
