So i just bought a 2001 C240 sport six speed... im having three problems with it my main one is shifting gears. when the car is Running i cant get my shifter to go into any gear its as if im not holding the clutch in.. but if i KOEO then shift into gear it will go in, then i KOER with it in a gear and the car will start to roll as if my clutch is not in... i first suspected my slave cylinder but after crawling under i soon found out its an internal slave cylinder.. i took an easy approach and just replaced my Clutch Master Cylinder since it was the only thing easily servicable.. and i still have the same problem.. Any Help?

Slave cylinder leaking or pressure plate is damaged. Pull the gearbox & check all. Presume system is properly bled.

the first thing i asumed was a faulty slave cylinder, if it was leaking would fluid drip out of the gear box bell housing? And a damaged pressure plate would cause the clutch disc to be fully engaged to the flywheel?
