First coat of Zaino

First coat of Zaino
I just buffed off the first coat of Zaino Z-2. In my dimly lit garage, it looks as good as the wax the dealer put on it. By some small miracle, the dealer wax job left no swirls. After washing with Dawn, I found two tiny imperfections in the paint. At first I thought it was bird droppings, but is actually in the base coat of the paint. I decided not to clay the car. Tomorrow, I will apply another two coats of Z-2.
I will do the wheel tomorrow also. The garage is too tight for an overfed 49 year old to get to the wheels.
So far, I am pleased. The Z-1 Polish Lok went on easily, and a little goes a loooooooonnnnnnngggg way. The Z-2 went on just easily, and buffed off quickly.

As I have stated many times I am a loyal Zaino user myself ! Did you get yourself some of their Z-6 Gloss Enhancer Spray for between coats of Z-2 ?
Thinking of Z-2, I love the smell of it ! Like candy !

The Z-6 even smells better than the Z-2... Come on... Take a swig.. Maybe it will help the gloss for your skin or something...
Edit: Wow, you got me so worked up I just applied another coat of Z-6, then Z-1 (To tighten things up a bit) and a coat of Z-2 over the Z-1 .. Waiting for it to haze now ...
By the way, I noticed that I have less brake dust build up after I Zaino'd (Z-1, Z-2) my wheels. It seems that it repels some (30-40%) of the brake dust if you keep up on the Z-2 with the wheels.

Is the Zaino stuff sold at any of the big chains?
Is it available for a discount anywhere?
Can it be applied in the sun or when the car is hot?
What's the best way to get rid of tar specs on the lower half of the doors?

Q: Is the Zaino stuff sold at any of the big chains?
A: No. Direct from the Manuf. or in some area distributors only.
Q: Is it available for a discount anywhere?
A: Not really. The best deal is ordering straight from Zaino Bothers at http://www.zainobros.com/ .
Q: Can it be applied in the sun or when the car is hot?
A: Yes, it can be applied in direct sunlight. I would not recommend applying it while your car is hot however.
Q: What's the best way to get rid of tar specs on the lower half of the doors?
A: Try some WD-40 .. It works wonders on removing Tar, grease and sticky stuff.
