Window Tint Percetage Of Choice w/poll
John,
Thanks for sharing the pic of your car, I'm definitely going to have to do Huper Ceramic 30 now.
It's not gay that we match is it? (BTW, what color shirt are you wearing tomorrow
)
IMO, state legal tint (30%-35%) will look darker that it actually is on a lighter color car. I had a white Ford Probe GT prior to my Mercedes, and the 30% tint on it looked as dark as 20% or darker.
I prefer the same level of tint on all the glass where it's legal to tint.
Honestly, I agree with those who said the same % all around. The car just doesn't look right with different percentages.
BTW - I did the X3 driving challenge at my local dealership today. Those new X3s are pretty nice; felt much better than the Q5 that I had driven before it. Nice to see that the trend started by the lowly ccoupe on the panorama roof has caught on.
The new X3 is pretty sweet, but if I wanted the same interior room and better ground clearance I would have kept my C240. I just put $5k down to get on the list for the Tesla Model S, don't worry I won't be able to take delivery for at least two years, so I haven't abandoned you guys yet. Even after I get it I plan to keep my C230 for road trips ect, but I may get tempted to go nuts with it if it isn't my daily driver... Can you say 5% tint all the way around (including the windshield)
I live in Las Vegas, so the sun is stupid bright during the day. I have gotten used to it, and can drive it at night just fine. I really have no issues with it.
I like it.. I can sit at a stop light and pick boogers & no one ever knows...
or get road-head from some girls... or...

LOL. J/K
Get dark tint, it looks great and keeps the cabin cooler.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I think 35% is the limit and maybe if I get 25% it won't be so dark to attract too much attention...
