Headers in my W203 C230 =)
Oh YEAH!! Brought my car out to Cypress Muffler and thanks to Steve, I got my headers in my m272 c230! I can feel the difference and can't wait for the final addition of getting it tuned! Jerry will be doing the tune for me.
I will get pictures up soon. It started to rain hard yesterday when i got the headers and muffler finished.
Hope I can make it to the MBJunkies meet!
Oh yeah! anyone with the CF diffuser on? I have it on but on the side where the muffler sits.. iono why or how it happened but that JBweld **** is not holdin ='( i hope someone here has better knowledge in what i can do to fix this cause it's kinda ugly hahaha

i bought the OBX off of ebay. to be honest, i didn't want to pay that much for a kleeman. The piping looked exactly the same in pictures so i just gave it a go. There was no problem installing but the only problem would be is the cat as they had to custom make it to fit.

Hadn't heard of them before.
Give us a status report in a few months as to how they are holding up.
No M111 coupey love from OBX ?

I run the OBX headers. They definitely gave me VERY GOOD power up top. The tune will really wake your car up. Congrats man!!! and I hope to see you at the MBJunkies meet. Congrats to Steve too, he does a fantastic job.
I've had them for almost a year (if I recall correctly) and knock on wood, I have no problems.

The OBX headers are the same design as the Kleeman headers, as that is what OBX does is copy the designs of other manufacturers and sells them for much cheaper, as they have NO R&D costs.

I think this is on the short list of what I want to do to my car. I'd love to hear sound clips of a C230 with these headers, and a full exhaust.

OBX are pretty well known in the Honda community.
As John said, they're the "Fucci" of the tuning world. People have had spotty quality with some of their stuff.
If you're into rewarding that kind of thing, it will save some bucks. Not personally my thing, but I'm sure they'll look good with your AMG wheel knock-offs.

Some Bucks? like $1500... I know they won't be the quality of the real deal, but headers are pretty easy to inspect, and repair if needed. Just my .02

I myself wanted the OBX as i did not want to pay the price of kleeman headers. and seriously... to me. as long as it fits right and does what it does.. then it's fine. Who is going to look under my car or even in my engine bay to look for that header and see what it is. I don't have that much money as i am a student and don't really care about bragging name brand names but i'm very happy with what i have.
I'm just waiting now for the tune and can't wait to feel a lil more power
Thanks Karo for the referral to Steve at Cypress! He does an amazing job and the price was REALLY ****in good!
See you guys at the meet!
oh yeah.. will take some pics after i get it washed... it's been raining alot

I saw those OBX headers for the M271 on ebay a while ago (but not recently), but didn't get them because they were not direct replacements for the exhaust manifold. IIRC, you had to take out a cat or muffler or something so they were not quite copies of the Kleeman headers. I'd be interested in them if somebody who tried them explained what was required and what the results were. I would prefer to keep as much of the stock muffler/cat setup as possible unless there is a good reason for making a change.

okay i'm sorry it took a while and should've took more shots but it was cold during the install and i was getting a little tired =(
So basically these headers are connected with my stock cats. The bad thing about that is that my cats are the lowest point of the car. Performance is great but WILL DEF need a tune cause my car isn't running that well -_-''
i'm using same piping from factory and took all the resonators and etc.
Hope you like pics

man your cars gotta be crazy loud with all your resonators on. I just have my secondary one removed and I think it generates too much cabin noise. Plan on ordering a set here pretty soon.

Don't forget to post a follow on report about what you had to do for tuning, how the performance and noise changed.

Cool! Couple of new questions if you don't mind?
1) What does it cost to get headers installed?
2) After installing headers, will they pass state inspection/street legal
Thanks in advance!
