Question help on pedals

hi, ive been searching the forum for the c7 pedals. and ive noticed that all of the brake pedals come with the oval stubs. are there any that have the round stubs? the picture below is of a c sports sedan. btw, what are the part numbers for the brake, gas, and e-brake? thank you in advanced and sorry if i get some people angered, but i did search the forum.

p.s. - would steve be able to get the round e-brake pedal in europe if it isnt available in the states?

The brake and gaspedal come from the SLK...those have round stubs...the SLK has a handbrake...not a MB specific pedal and therefore your only option (as far as OEM MB goes) is the R230 SL parking brake pedal cover...but it has oval shaped rubber knobs instead of round...

These are the numbers if you have 6 speed:

203 430 00 84 handbrake

170 300 00 04 gas pedal

170 290 02 82 brake pedal

170 290 00 82 clutch

Automatik folks:

Gaspedal: A 170 300 00 04

Brakepedal: A170 290 01 82

Handbrakepedal: A 203 430 00 84

These are all round rubbers and not the oval ones...

Rumman

E-brakepedal: A 203 430 00 84 is oval, not round.

I was wondering from what part is the e-brake pedal coming from if it isn't oval?

I believe it's from SL. The round one does exist. I'm looking for the part number too. So far, it's only available with the new EURO-SPEC sport-pack. Don't worry, we'll get it sooner or later.

The numbers i have listed above are all with round stubs, if you want oval ones for your parking brake, you take 230 430 00 84!!

Those mats are part of the Evolution (C7) package everywhere exept the US. You should be able to get them from your dealer or try www.clairparts.com

Is it hard to replace the pedals? I assume it's just one or two screws to undo right? Or is there extra work required?

What mats are in the picture above? (they look like the evolution mats) the silver trim looks very bold .

i remember someone "buying" the evolution mats for the car from a dealership on the board or maybe it was Young getting mats that were mistaken in his vehicle !:p

it aint that bad, the rubber is taken off the current pedals and is exchanged with the new ones for the brakes and the clutch pedals. For the accelerator, you change the entire accelerator, this is done in a few minutes!! i think it is a bolt and a pin that need removing!!

I called the parts dept. where I'd ordered the gas & brake pedals last time, and they couldn't find anything under those e-brake part #. They did have the one starts with 230 (which I already have) but not the 203 one. Must be an Europe/the rest of the world only part. Has anyone in the US actually ordered & received this part successfully?
