I think you mean the really heavy metal where just anyone off the street could grab a microphone and scream into it and sound exactly the same. While it IS personal preference, I don't see a whole lot of talent involved.

Eh, the talent part is an opinion. Some are like, "THATS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE TO SCREAM LIKE THAT!", to others being.. "I'm better off recording my baby cry and put it to a rock band."
It takes practice, skill, and talent for mostly ALL genres. I know I don't like particular genres, but I know that they do some form of work/skill to make that music they make.
Then again.. Just an opinion of mine!

Deadmous is sick, I saw them play at one of the clubs in Hollywood (can remember if it was Avalon of Vanguard) and it was something else. At the time they werent as huge as they are now. They really exploded especially with the Electro market.

oh yea i really think he took the whole electro industry and turned it into a new sensation. faxing berlin is sick! i play it at lease once at all my gigs (DJ part time) but what i really hate is this new genre of what i like to call "drunk college girl music" ft. kesha, new age britney spears, mrs.gaga, etc. and i just hate them all and their beats, but some people just can't get enough of it and it's ruining our airwaves! there should be a free station devoted only to house/electro/trance!!!!

XM does have a Trance/Electro/House station and it's ok. They play good music here http://www.di.fm/
