Worst Week EVER
I'm sure others have had worse, but Monday 3AM my wife (pregnant) wakes up with bleeding from the youknowwhere, so we think we've lost the baby. Thankfully we didn't but we're now at high risk to lose the baby.
After spending 10 hours in the ER and then the hospital, I get home, take a nap, and start grilling burgers b/c that's what my baby wanted. The cat tries to run out the back door and in my attempt to keep her in (she's declawed in the front and she once got out and didn't come back for a while and when she did she was all tore up from a fight), I get my big toe caught between the door and the threshold and take off the end of my toe. My neighbor takes me back to the hospital to get it taken care of. The bone is all fine except the bruising, but I have no flesh on the top half and no toenail. Great since I have a powerlifting meet on 4/16.
We had a storm Monday night and my deck furniture blew all over the place. The ottoman blew across the deck and down the 13 stairs and put a nasty cut in my rear panel right behind the gas tank flap. So I have to see that damn cut in my car every time I gas up. The car is too old to bother fixing the cut (2002, 135k).
All week my wife has been on bedrest, so I haven't been getting anything done at work. We're sleeping on the sofa because she's more comfortable sitting in the reclining portion of the sectional than the bed and I need to be near her or I won't hear her when she needs me. She's got a headache all day and vomiting all night. So I'm getting no sleep, no training, no work done, and my wife still feels awful and we still might lose the baby.
Yesterday the cat got out around 3PM and didn't come back until 3AM, so my wife was crying from about 9PM until the cat came back. She kept waking up, puking, and crying about the cat. She usually never stays gone past 9PM because she knows it's meal time.
Anyway, I know only a small part of that was car related, but this is the only forum I'm on where nobody knows who I really am, and we haven't made it public that we're pregnant because of the complications, so I just needed to vent.
I had to replace a tail light so I stopped at the dealer and got one for $2 and said "what the heck, I'll get some BG 44k." Hopefully that will give me something good to talk about, as the car has been ****ty lately, just like everything else.

Ouch dude, that is a really rough week. As a father of 8, and as a husband I can empathize with your worry and frustration. Things will look better soon, maybe not as soon as you would like, but soon. When my wife had her miscarriage, my dad gave us some really good advice. He told me to do one something unexpected and nice for my wife each day, and for her to do the same to me. I didn't care about what she did for me, and just trying to figure out what the best surprise I could do for my wife that day took my mind off of things a little bit.
I hope everything turns out well, and will keep your family in my prayers. Even the cat, and I hate cats.

I taught I had the worst week with 4 exams.... Try doing something that you love by yourself or with your wife, something that brings you peace, even if its for a short while-take away the NEGATIVITY. Think POSITIVE and know that everything that happens in life happens for a reason. Everything will pass, make the best of what you got.
STAY STRONG!!

Once the baby arrives,... and you get to hold your new-born baby in your arm,... you'll both realize it was all worth it.

Thanks for the support, guys. We're going to the Dr. today for a checkup. Hopefully good news.
I cleaned my MAF and I'm 1/2 way through my tank on BG44K. Good stuff. Definitely notice a difference.
