with your stock wheels and tires your tires wont rub the spring if you want to go lower. The only coilovers that have a real issue with rubbing the strut/spring is the KW. Since the fronts are 7.5 width there's plenty of room to drop it and not worrying about rubbing. I have 8.5 in front and I'm dropped all the way on my Teins and nothing rubs. Granted my offset is +20 but even when I had CLS500 wheels on with 18x8.5 +28 in front it didnt rub anything. So I think you'll be fine no needing spacers, plus there are many members on here that have H&R coilovers and they drop the front all the way down and dont have issues.

Also you cant justify that most of us take our cars to the dealership or shop to get it worked on. Members like Karo, Glyn, Johnand will give you a wealth of knowledge and WIS and DAS if you're ever needing part #s or DIY on how to remove something.

You'll learn after awhile these guys on here like to joke around alot. But we're all here as enthusiast and here to help each other out.

on another note, you should look into getting euro impact strips from Gary, he's a sponsor here, they're like 45-50 bucks. It'll give your front a clean look.

+1 most of the members are DIY people ... especially the ones who mod their cars just a note
And yes on euro impact strips

yeah the screws will hold it all in place. Also when doing the HU install you'll have to remove the insulation in the back to make room for all your wires. If it dont the wires will push the HU out and it'll leave gaps between the other controls above and below on the console.

Its going... I need to buy some aluminum sheets so I can build some boxes gonna make intake boxes and use my K&N filters from the stock box. I just need to buy some 4" piping and wait for the scoops to be built and shipped off. Hopefully this week or next it'll be in.

Anyone else notice that every thread recently turns into an HV/Phister private discussion?

Albaster, looking forward to the mods. I'm thinking rims, exhaust, sway bars, and alcantara Recaros in black.

Well it'd be about Karo and his boy fetish but he's MIA.

but I'd like to see some interior pics. Any performance mods in plan? I'd recommend sending your ECU out to Jeremy at OE Tuning or Jerry at Eurocharged, best performance mod IMO it'll really wake your car up, many can vouch on that.

Ok, to further take this away from the OP's car, yes.

I got them installed today, too. The a-holes who balanced my summer rims last weekend torqued the sh*t out of them, so I couldn't remove them this past weekend. So, took it down to Rogue Engineering (place that I got the studs from), and had them put them on today (you have excellent timing!).

I ended up using stock Honda open-ended lugnuts (don't have the part# with me, but could get it) from Majestic for $1.96 each. They are 19mms, and not much working room, so I'm going to have to get a thin-walled deep socket at Sears after work today, so that I can take them off.

I was planning on taking pics and posting them on my thread tonight. I'm very happy with the way that they look, though I wish there were more ball seat lugnuts available - long open-ended nuts would have looked better.

Now I'm thinking 5 or 10 mm spacers in the rear, and will be much easier with the conversion, of course.

I believe they're the lug nuts for the S2000, i did some research awhile back and thats what it brought me to. I believe its also the same lug nuts for the current Si civics.

If you get 'em for the S2K CR or NSX, they're black. But close-ended, I believe. The Rogue studs stick out too far currently for close-ended, plus with my rim/smurfmobile combination, a little chrome peeking out isn't a bad thing.

Havoc, you'll get 'em soon enough. Just starting to completely thaw out here in the NE, so washing will be more frequent, and a car too dirty to take pics of will be less.
