Dynamat?
Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? My friend works at CarToys and they sell it for pretty cheap. It installs under the carpet, behind the door, even under the headliner and is suppost to supress road noise dramaticly. Any opinions?

I have used this every time I upgraded the speakers and stereos in cars I have had. Makes the car much more quiet, makes the speakers sound better as the door and floor panels no longer act as sounding boards.
I usually have spent about $200 per car on the dynamat. I did not need to do this on my Lincoln Mark VIII and I doubt if you need to do that extensive on a MB. The coupes have all the speakers in the doors, putting dynamat behind on the door panels would be good.

I am not a fan of Dynamat, I think it is very over-rated. I know what the claims are, but I have seen it come loose in the summer and crack in the winter. I live in NJ and wouldn't want to install it anywhere that has harsher weather conditions since it couldn't even hold up in NJ. BTW, it was professionally installed by a Dynamat dealer.
