C320 engine cover removal, help please
Hi, I want to change my air filter with the K&N, but I don't know how to remove the engine cover, can someone help me, please.
I have the c320.

From the front of the car, bend Waaay over into the engine bay, grab the airbox midway back on each side and pull straight up. You may have to yank it pretty good. Once you get it off, you'll see how the clips hold it in place. DON'T try to detach the front fairing from the rear first... there's no reason to do so and it's clips break easily. I broke mine (MB fixed it under warranty).
If you replace with K&Ns, let us know your impressions afterwards. Some say it will do no good, others say mileage will increase.

i have the k&n and i beleive it works much better, especially in the higher rpms and speed.
as for the cover, grab the front piece of the airbox and pull up slightly, then pull straight back, this will remove the front piece. as to the rest of the airbox, PULL straight up and it will come off.

Don't detach front piece first!
MB-BOB is right, do not detach front piece from rest of airbox. You can pull up on it slightly to detach its clip from the engine, then grab airbox on both sides midway and pull straight up. You'll need a torx screwdriver to remove the air filters.

And to reiterate, there is no reason to remove the front piece of the airbox. It's purely decorative and can stay attached to the main part of the airbox. There are lots of plastic clips that are easily broken if you don't know how to remove it properly, so don't bother.
