Question 95 Ron vs. 98 Ron for Kompressor

Friend of mine today told me it's significantly better for the Kompressor to run on 98 ron petrol than 95 Ron. He said it's the way the Kompressor uses the fuel. He's knows Mercedes well bit has only ever owned S500s so he is speaking from what he has been told not personal experience.

What do you guys think?

I'm not too familiar with the C200k but I remember long time ago (when looking up specs on the C200k motor) reading that the C200k demands 98 ron.

I know here in the us the C230k when hooked up to STAR diag and you go into the timing settings you'll see that it's set to 91 which I believe should be 95 ron. In that case I don't know if 93 (98 ron) would be any help since the ignition is for 91 (95).

95 RON Eurograde - which your refineries now make in Aus is perfect for the 200K. She has moderate boost & a 9.3 to one CR.
