STOP THE PRESSES! FREE FREE FREE STUFF FROM MERCEDES DEALERS UP TO $100!!!

darn, no loaner....
I'll have to see if I can hit the parts dept. (Smythe)
while I'm at it.
EDIT- Got the car back, they replaced some selenoids in a service campaign,
flushed the brake fluid, nice and clean, did a 20 or something point check on the whole car,
washed it and swept the inside.
Total cost $15.10

Took the car in for a Transmission Service which includes fluid, gasket, filter, draining the torque converter and also got the loaner plus a car wash and vacuum. Total out of the door after coupon was $230. I was going to do it myself, but at that price might as well have them do it so I don't have to buy the dipstick and the expensive fluid. Dealer said this is the biggest discount he's ever seen and this was the first time this promo was used there. Next I would like to get the brake fluid or the coolant replaced with another $100 discount. We have 2 dealers here, so I will take it to the other one just in case. Probably will have them do the brake fluid and do the coolant myself.

Ha, the guy was going to check the manager and call me.
Nothing yet.
He did say, after reading the coupon carefully that there was no way
that he would give me $100 in parts and let me pay $9.25 in tax and walk out the
door. I agreed it's crazy, but pointed out it says you only need spend $100 to get $100 off.
Also the GF tried to get some stuff from Smythe while I was there for my service,
No go. She gave it the college try.
Ha, she was trying to get these black folding chairs that have the Mercedes logo on them for $50 each.
Woulda looked nice our next camping trip. LOL.
EDIT: Park Ave called me back and said they WILL accept the coupon.
Seems they went all the way to MBUSA and they told them they will reimburse.
So, much to his dismay, looks like I'll be getting $100 in parts for $9.25

I mentioned to the guy about full tranny flush, he said that MB doesnt recommend a full tranny flush and does only 4( actual amount is closer to 3.5) quart flushes at $400 price tag
Going to hit up another MB dealership for some interior replacement parts...YAY!
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I got all-weather mats and want to get the carpet ones too and was thinking of stopping by the same dealer on the way home. Not sure if they'll remember me, I think the few times I've been in there the same cashier was working. The coupons don't say anything about only one per person or household though, I just hate arguing the fine print with them if they give any pushback.
I do want to bring the car in for service, the windshield washer hose broke under the hood, and I don't feel like taking the hood insulation apart to get to it.
I do need an oil change soon too. Might pick up $100 worth of filters.
I am going to pickup my car tomorrow I hope so i will let everyone know how my $130 dollar tire mounting and balance goes. BTW for once I am glad it is this expensive at the dealer so I did not have to have them do something else to get the cost over $100. I had a tire shop quote me $55 to do the same thing lol. Next on the list is to get a coolant flush done and then a brake flush.

It occurs to me if Ryder gets more Shell ATF 134 in, (currently out of stock, dammit!) at less than $5 a quart (I need 3-4 quarts), and I can get the washer and orings+plastic piece for like $10 from my indy guy, I'd only save a couple bucks if anything. Those items total only about $30 online/indy.
But the dealers figure it's worth $100. + 10 tax.
If my order is exactly $100 and the tax is $10 (yes, 10% sales tax in CA)
and fuel costs $15 RT, I won't be saving much if anything.
If it's over $100 I won't save a dime.
Now that being said maybe there's something else I could get?

It's funny how the dealers prices are so inflated you end up not saving that much
even with FREE $100, after you drive there and spend time vs. it
just appearing at your house ordered online, but hell, I'm not complaining.

I wonder if Annapolis would take them? Their parts prices are so much more reasonable.
I'm thinking end links or a speaker one is blown. Speaker is $60 online, $150 at the dealer, ha!
End links same thing, $45 online, and like $90 at the dealer.
You end spending the same amount of money with or without the coupon, but depends what you get.

cant u just put in faux info and print away??
it doesnt say that u can just use it on parts only , can u or does it have to be service too
but the 1st one i recieved says parts , service , accessories and the latest ones say service only WTF gonna try to get some new rear springs and shim pads
Back then, they didn't know what the coupon was and had to read it, but didn't hassle me over it.
Today, I bought the carpeted floor mats, presented the coupon, the cashier just folded it up and rang me up! He obviously knew what the coupon was now and didn't bat an eye.
My mats were not in stock though, but will be here in a couple days.
I still have 5 more unique old style coupons left. What else can I get?

i just printed out 7 100 dollar coupons, with faux emails etc....
my car c320 has 55K miles and i believe needs new brakes in front and rear, tho there is no warning light yet,
we have nver done brake flush , or tranny flush , or anything besides just oil changes...
i need to get cracking at this
local dealers are encino, keys and calabassas
