No reason for a dealer to not honor the coupon when the service is performed on the car. Mercedes will reimburse the dealer for the amount of coupon.

That is a possibility. Here is a snippet from the coupon...

*One-time use only. Must present at time of purchase to receive offer. Valid at participating Mercedes-Benz
dealers.
May not be photocopied. Non-transferable between households.

so I went to the mothership and asked about a new alternator and can I just say what a load of ***** asking $600 bucks for an alternator! So instead I bought a brand new battery for $82 bucks and when I bring back the old one they will return a $20 core charge.

I am printing a $50 coupon so when I return I will buy some air filters, some oil, MB jacket for the wife and some other gadgets.

Went back in to the stealership today to pick up 2 wipers for $93, the parts guy changed the total to $100, in order for me to use the coupon

For those who were not able to use the coupon for parts, I suggest you guys to try again bcuz I talked to the cashier and they actually have a code for using the coupon on parts ( I saw it on the wall, it was something like GC100PARTS for parts and GC100SERV for services )

I guess the parts sides is much better with these coupons. I scheduled an oil change and the total came out to $99.95!!! I told the service rep to hook it up and make it like $105.00 and i'll pay the $5 and wouldn't let me even do that!!!! So I ended up paying the full amount of $105.00 for a FREAKING OIL CHANGE!
DARN YOU PENSKE!!
*it is my fault for not reading the fine print *$100 before taxes * to use the coupon. but still wtf... i asked how much the cup holder for the front was as well and they said $110.00 for it -_-'' might as well get that from a different dealer

Ha, I was afraid of that...I saw one dealership had an oil change for $90. I think I would have had them throw in an extra quart of oil for the trunk or have them tighten a screw or something. But looks like I won't have to if I can get Fremont to accept the coupon. Guess I'll head there Sat.

Mercedes Benz Bloomfield Hills in Detroit is a go for the voucher... I'm using it on a Service A though. Costs me $88.

Just curious is that 2 sets of wipers? Or just one set, R&L ?
Damn those be some X pensive wipers.
How's about updating your profile with vehicle info?
I also noted with some joy, that Fremont charges close to MSRP.
Dealerships like Beschoff, and Smyth charge 50%-100% (2x) the
Mercedes MSRP.

New C32 rotors are 140 which I see on parts.com is msrp.
So, I wonder what they'll say when I just buy one?
Of course I'll return and buy a 2nd one on another coupon.
Total outlay will be around 100 bucks.
Probably get pads for free eh?
People have mentioned that mercedes carries low dust pads?
Don't see a part number on the epc.

Did you happen to notice if you got the same parts person twice?
It occured to me to call, once in the morning, once at night each day, and
see who is on duty.
That way, I can make multiple trips.

I got 2 sets of the wipers. There's 2 in each box. And yes, the dealership in fremont does have cheaper prices for their parts. I think in the morning, it's the part manager and after 4pm, it's another staff member. I'm pretty sure if you bring a friend with you and have him buy your other rotor, it should work cuz the cashier (Bonnie) is super nice and she has no problem letting me use the coupon multi times. The second time I went back, I didn't even mention my coupon to the parts guy I just had the cashier deal with it since she's familiar with the coupon already. And I'll update my profile soon

Dude. I asked the service advisor to add anything even a wiper or a filter but wouldn't and said i would have to get that at the parts counter and not through him. The only thing that he did for me was the oil change service and wouldn't add an extra few bucks to help me out to use the voucher. It's koo though whatevers, i'm not going to be a big baby about it. Imma use the $100 off for the brake fluid flush and go to another dealer with my other $100 and get a full detail done =)

But for sure next time! Oil change myself instead

So, I did get my $100 coupon when the link was back up. However, it's a no go @ Rusnak/Arcadia (Southern CA). They said it has to be used for a service appointment and that MB was going to change the wording to indicate so. I applied for another coupon here @ work (this time got a $50 coupon) and sure enough, the wording has changed to:

"Offer applies to services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles only. Total service must be $50 or more (excludes taxes). "

Bummer for me, as I need something from this particular dealer...

Anybody have a part # for locking lug bolts? If they're exorbitantly expensive (like over $100) I might try it at another dealer...

Shoot I see they have changed the wording.
I'm planning a trip to Fremont tomorrow, Sat.
Hope it works.
I was gonna buy one C32 rotor and have my GF buy the other one.
I just signed up for another coupon and sure enough, it says
"$100 off SERVICE". period. Nothing about parts or accessories.
Ha, the GF wanted to get some free stuff too.
Maybe I can try going back in the afternoon,
get some oil filters etc.

Good thing I signed up for multiple coupons to my emails before the wording changed, the wording only changes for me only when I "click here to view" for the larger version, I'm just gonna print the coupon through my email

Woot Woot! Serious Booty haul.
2 C32 rotors for 112,
new front plastic cover for under the vehicle + 4 screws ($15)
oil filter + wiper blades + carpet clips for my GF's car ($11.59)
We went twice today, and there are 2 of us, so we used 4 $100 coupons.

Sooo, i tried to go to fletcher jones in newport beach, ca to get this coupon redeemed. They were giving me tough time about it but eventually they agreed to honor via the service. Meaning, i need to check in with the service adviser who will write me up a ticket and then I can purchase the part I want.

Now to the part i want...lol

I have a 2005 C230 coupe and was looking to install amg sway bars . Now there seems to be 6 different options for the sway bars (2 from C32 and 4 from C55) according to the parts guy. He wasn't too sure as to which one would fit on my car and the one tech guy he asked flat out said they they do not install amg parts on non amg cars so that wasn't very helpful.

So could you guys help me out with the part number (front and back) which will fit the 2005 coupe please? And do i need any other parts to install it or just the bars get switched out? Thank you!

I'm going to keep searching the forum for answers but if anyone can chime in, it would be awesome!

If the AMG sway bars are thicker than the original ones on your car, then you would have to replace the bushings and the mounting brackets, bolts.

2005 "Facelift" supposedly included the thicker bars.
Not certain if that includes coupe.
Do a quick check, used a caliper. If front are 22-23mm you don't need
amg bars, 'cause you already got 'em.

Well maybe they only made the rear thicker according to this?
http://www.mercedestechstore.com/pdf...eliftprint.pdf
Only one way to know for certain. Measure the front bar.
