Today I got a set of the hub caps for $72 and Two wiring harness that were $32 each so I paid some out of pocket but he did not even check the PIN or anything and my invoice said like $145 not $45 lol so whatever my parts will be in tomorrow.
I hope I can use my last $100 coupon tomorrow to get my crankshaft pulley put on since I don't want to do it. Oh and I need brake fluid for my new pads that are going on very very soon. Can't wait to see how much you got 2002 C230 Sport Coup I have a feeling you have been

I love the old SEL SEC's.....to me they are like the last true Mercedes. I love the big coupes.
My GF got a switch for her ML the window switches are like falling apart along with the vents.
The switch (all windows+ mirrors) was like 180-100.
I got 2 seals and a set of brake pads.
And yet AGAIN they gave me pads for an E Class.
I questioned him over and over.
He said yeah, 0044209020 is superceded by
0054209920 but the EPC says they are for W211.
Oh well, thats ok.
I can sell the pads and that will pay for the rest of the head gasket parts
from either parts.com or Annapolis.
This happened once before and I sold them for $55 via the forum.
In just 2 days! Locally even.
Do we have another day?

oh i know...my passenger side door handle broke, where the plastic handle meets the door
not the handle that u use to open the door (the metal) one, but the plastic hold on handle.
i closed the passenger door from the inside, from the driver side and it broke where it meets the door panel
i wonder if they have that piece

Mercedes today seems more like an exotic car manufacturer.
They use untested bleeding edge technology from
whomever (including the italians as my
starter rebuild proved, it was Magnetti Marreli) not from in house engineering.
Mercedes was supposed to mfg.
a. cars like tanks built with extreme attention to detail
b. in house engineering that equals reliability and long life
c. status
d. long term value by virtue of reliability and indestructibility.
I guess that was all just a perception not reality.
Instead they seem more like german made Maserati's today.
They build the best italian cars in all of europe (and Brazil and Alabama!)
My girl's 2006 ML is just falling apart. Anyone who says quality got better after the early
2000's quality debacle would be wrong.
Hey I saw an AMG V8 biturbo at the dealer the other day.
Didn't know that existed.
Guess I'll see about getting an oil change today.

I have gone to two dealers multiple times, but not on the same day.
I will go to two dealers today with $100 each, and I have been to each of them before.

Already had my brake fluid flushed, now going for the oil change.
I called Beshoff they won't do it,
since it's only 89 and they won't bump it.

My SA bumped up the price of the oil change like a dollar for my gf so she could get it.

I used two of mine for service but went to different dealers because the first time it took them like 10 minutes to process it and everyone in the staff meet me so i figured it was too risky.

Beschoff won't bump the price to $100 from 90 so they are a no go.
Park Ave wants 135 +tax + disposal fees for a total of
like 150 and + I'd have to take 2 cars like 60 Mile RT so there's like 6 gallons of fuel@ 4 a gallon-$24.
Not worth it.
For $50 I can DIY and I don't mind.
It's less hassle than dropping off at the dealer etc.
Unless of course it's completely free.
So lastly will Smythe let me go again?
Still trying.

Well this is the high stress San Jose south bay sewer, 1 Million + people
just in San Jose alone (10-15 million in the bay area all cities connected like Trantor, Issac Azimov's galactic center), and most of them are from
some other 23rd world country.
You are in VA which I'm sure people are nicer, that southern touch, or am I full of it?

You don't have some small thing they could look at to raise the price? or throw in some part you need anyway and have them bill you on the same ticket. That is what a guy did today.
