just fyi guys.

i went to the dealership here in buena park ca.
they took the 100 coupon but associated the pin to my vin and mentioned that i would not be able to use any subsequent coupons for the same car.

I then went to the anaheim location.
They accepted the coupon with little fuss just had to verify the pin with the business office.

i'm going to try long beach location and torrance location tomorrow.

We're gonna find out tomorrow...I went in today for some all season mats, which they had 1 in stock, and I asked the guy about the gift card and he's like "I don't see why not, it looks legit" but unfortunately the manager wasn't there to approve it so I'm gonna have to go in tomorrow to pick it up and see what the manager says *cross fingers*

I think the parts guy is the cashier's guy, the dealership I go to is under construction so in order for me to get my parts i had to walk inside to the stock room and get it

Quote: So, here in the bay area,
I'm hoping we can get a sound off on
which dealerships were willing to do parts & accessories.

San Jose Beschoff- No
Santa Clara Smyth (so expensive!)- ?
Monterey- ?
Fletcher Jones Fremont- ?
San Carlos Autobahn- ? I got a YES from someone on benzworld. But he had to talk to the manager of the dealer.
Mercedes Pleasanton (didn't even know this one existed)- ?
Oakland- Yes!
San Fran - ?
Marin RAB motors-?

for my friends here in the bay area
Walnut Creek is also a go. went to order the rear sway bar there and used the $50.00 coupon there.

Should've used a $100 one, aren't the rear sway bars $100? and the front is $75?

I did not not want to use my other $100 for the sway bar because i am going to use it for a new alternator.

Anyone know of any dealerships in the Detroit area that accept these coupons? I have 2 $50 ones and I'm in deep need of a service B.

Have you guys with C's successfully used a $100 coupon that was printed under a different car model, such as the E-class? I've only been able to get a $50 coup. when using my exact car model and year. Also, has anyone successfully utilized two coupons at the same dealership?

Cool, thanks pcy.

I'm still debating what I want to use these for. My ride still squeaks like hell after 20 mins or so of driving on rough roads so I should probably get the bushings replaced. You think it would be worth it to go to MB for that though? It will probably run me $500 plus with parts and labor...so probably not.

Maybe I should just get the AMG sway bars like the majority of peeps in this thread lol.

I actually had the transfer case fluid flushed back when they did my transmission fluid, wasn't too long ago. I'm pretty sure they only did a partial flush though since I paid somewhere around $525 for both at the time. Oh well, I don't think it would be worth it at this point to go back and have it all re-done after only 5k miles or so since the partial flush.

The verdict is....

When I went back in today for my mats, it wasn't the same guy I talked to yesterday so I thot to myself that it might not work. i told the guy to grab my mats which were right next to the counter and he asked this other lady to help me with the coupon. The first thing she said was, this is for service only and the guy said the same thing ...but then, I pointed out that the offer applies to parts in the fine print...so the lady went back to ask the guy and all I heard from him was "uhhh I don't care, do whatever you want" ...the lady printed out all the invoice for me and walked me to the cashier, meanwhile I asked her if I can use this coupon again here since I got two of them and she suggested that I go to another dealership lol...the surprising thing was that the cashier was actually aware of this promotion and pointed out that there's an account opened up for the coupons , so I asked her the same question about reusing the coupon again at this dealership and she said "I don't see why not, go for it!"

Fletcher Jones is an Epic Yes! *Imma go back this weekend to order me some sway bars

used 2001 c class and got the $100, printed out 3 of them. Will get my fuel filter changed and spark plugs.
Any accessories recommended for a 07 c280 4matic?

Yes, it seems almost anything from 2001 results in a $100 coupon.
Nearly new cars, still under warranty are getting free service anyway, so only $25 coupon.
It's the older cars that generate the most cash apparently.
But not too old. Tried like 1992 or something and got $25.
Funny, they say it's "random" and it's anything but.
It's purely the year of the vehicle.

I'm sure they spent a fortune in research groups to determine who they needed to go
after. The older cars that people still love but not so old they
don't bother to keep them up.

that makes sense.

The main purpose of these coupons is to generate traffic to MB dealerships [specifically service departments]. Their effort is paying off... sort of :-)

So are there some dealerships that won't honor this even if you're getting a service done?
