2002 C230 coupe CEL question
Hi guys, I've seen O2 sensor issues pop up a few times for c230s but never a '02 coupe, so here's my codes:
P0130 O2 sensor circuit malfunction
P0131 O2 sensor low voltage
p0132 O2 sensor high voltage
P0135 O2 sensor heater malfunction
P0171 System too lean / faulty MAF
4 of the 5 refer to the bank 1 O2 sensor 1 (upstream), I'm hoping the MAF code is just a symptom of the O2 sensor. Does anybody have any advice for me before I attempt to replace the sensor? Is the BOSCH 16272 the right part? I noticed that it seems to be the exact OE fit for later model C230s with the 1.8 engine so I don't know if it's correct.
Car is running without severe issues, but the gas mileage is worse than it was before the CEL came on (~16/24) and at high RPMs under load, I can tell the mixture is bad as power drops off completely when the supercharger kicks in. If anybody has experience with replacing the upstream O2 sensor on a 2002 coupe, I would appreciate any advice.
