Electrical feedback noise through radio speakers
Hello,
I have a 2005 C230 sedan.
I started to get ignition noise feed back through my radio speakers. When the ignition is in the acc or on position. You can hear the ignition noise through the speakers constantly. It also makes it louder when I step on the brakes. Is there some type of noise suppressor that may have failed on the car and if so, where is it located. Any help would be appreciated.
I stop using the radio because of the annoying feedback noise.
Thanks in advance,
AL Z

Thanks for the responses.
I did install some HID's about a week ago. I did think that may have been the issue, but I was able to trace it down to the sub woofer amp. I think it may have gone bad. when I disconnected the input rca leads to the amp, the noise went away. left the leads disconnected until I can remove the amp to get it tested.
Thanks again,
AL Z

do you have your power wires running down one side of the car and the rca's running down the other? If not that could be the issue, you're suppose to keep the rca and power wire from to the amps as far apart as possible.
