tire question
Hello - I am brand new to this site - just became proud new owner of a 2006 c230 sport. I like the low profile tires and am in need of some new tires soon. I would appreciate any brand suggestions for replacements. Looking for tires that will give good tread life and quite ride.

i just mounted a set of hankook ventus v12 on my 2006 . I think they are great tires for only 430$ for all 4 shipped from discounttiredirect.com. I, as well as many tire shops in the tri-state area, use this site for tire purchases.

I should have mentioned I am getting GT-Radials fitted on the back this week, gratis from the dealers, Continentals I'd have to pay $200 on top for each tire. The front are Toyo tires. Mine is a firm ride and if I had to pay for a set, I would get the softer continentals as mentioned above. But as I am not paying for them and my dealers tire department (I trust them) says the GT-Radials are great tire too, I will go with them. Plus two Continentals on the back and Toyo at the front isn't work it for me. I'd wait until I need to replace all for (Toyo & GT-Radials) in the future and then go Continentals again.

I am extremely pleased with the michelin PS2 summer tires that I am using. I have an extra set of rims with dedicated snow tires that I run in the winter. I notice a huge change when I put the summer tires back on, but then again, I am going from a snow tire to a performance summer tire.

my car came with the continental contisport contact performance tires and man can those grip! if you're looking for a summer performance tire, get either these or michelin ps2. i'm about to get the ps2's on my black rims for the summer and get a good set of bridgestone blizzak winter tires for the winter on my stock rims. for a good all season tire and comfort, either continental dws or michelin pilot a/s.
